Mushroom nursery

Mushrooms used to be grown in caves because the cave climate is perfect for the ongoing cultivation of mushrooms. In the early 1950s, however, the growers were forced to find above ground nursery spaces for reasons of safety and profitability.

They found such spaces, which meant the beginning of the modernisation of the cultivation technique.

During the tour you will get to know everything about the modern and labour-intensive cultivation process of the white mushroom.
